Jocelyn is a Master teacher, trainer & coach who actively assists you to build your coping toolbox to resolve reactive depression and anxiety, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) and reduce vulnerability to Bipolar episodes She skilfully integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Schema Therapy & Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to individualise the process.
The management plan includes psychoeducation, motivational interviewing to be brave with change and skills training in mindfulness meditation, relaxation, interpersonal effectiveness (including assertiveness) & problem-solving. Clients are encouraged to step into the driver’s seat of their brain through the practice of Mindfulness Meditation & be in charge of your attention as the electrical power source maintaining unhelpful thoughts that trigger anxiety, depression, and hyper-manic episodes.
Jocelyn understands the brain’s amazing neuroplasticity & teaches you to become a Master Reprogrammer with the additional use of Clinical Hypnosis, EMDR, or RET. The reprogramming is deeper with Schema Therapy, so there is significantly less relapse than with CBT.
